What Gas operation despite mains supply voltage means
The Dometic RM8 support page says the refrigerator switches to gas operation when mains supply voltage is too low and will automatically switch back to 230V operation when voltage is sufficient again.
Owner-safe checks
- Check the owner-visible mains power supply and selected energy mode.
- Record whether the refrigerator returns to 230V operation after stable mains voltage is available.
Service-only work
- Mains voltage diagnosis, wiring, fuses, heating elements, and refrigerator electronics diagnosis are service-only.
