What Excessive Angle means
The Lippert Ground Control LCD troubleshooting manual lists Excessive Angle as excessive angle reached during manual operation or an unsecured controller.
Owner-safe checks
- Stop jack movement.
- Relocate the fifth wheel only if it is safe to do so before retrying.
Service-only work
- Jack motors, hall sensors, controller placement, harness repair, calibration, homing, high-current wiring, and controller replacement should follow Lippert service procedures.
Safety boundary
Never use leveling jacks as service stands. Keep people clear of jacks and pinch points and do not service jack wiring or motors unless qualified.
