Lippert External Sensor fault code — Leveling system
Applies to: Ground Control LCD 4-point, Ground Control LCD 6-point
What External Sensor means
The Lippert Ground Control LCD troubleshooting manual lists External Sensor as a bad connection or wiring from the controller to the rear sensor.
Owner-safe checks
- Stop automatic leveling.
- Record the message and coach position for service.
Service-only work
- Jack motors, hall sensors, controller placement, harness repair, calibration, homing, high-current wiring, and controller replacement should follow Lippert service procedures.
Safety boundary
Never use leveling jacks as service stands. Keep people clear of jacks and pinch points and do not service jack wiring or motors unless qualified.
