What EA means
The Dometic FreshJet FJX operating manual lists EA as current sensor fault.
Owner-safe checks
- Record EA, selected mode, setpoint, and whether the code appears during startup or steady running.
- Stop FreshJet operation from normal controls if the code returns.
- Note campsite power context and recent service history before calling for service.
Service-only work
- Current sensor, internal electrical protection, IPM module, and rooftop compartment diagnosis should be handled by authorized Dometic service or qualified RV HVAC personnel.
Safety boundary
Disconnect power before any FreshJet service. Refrigerant-circuit, sealed-system, sensor, fan, drive, electrical protection, roof seal, and internal component work is for authorized Dometic service or qualified RV HVAC personnel.
