Dometic P1 fault code — Rooftop air conditioner

What P1 means
The Dometic FreshJet FJX operating manual lists P1 as under voltage protection.
Owner-safe checks
- Record P1, selected mode, setpoint, and whether other high-draw RV loads were active.
- Ask campsite management whether campsite power is sufficient for air conditioner operation.
- Reduce active electrical consumers and unwind a cable drum if one is used, then retry once from normal controls.
- Stop FreshJet operation from normal controls if the code returns.
Service-only work
- FreshJet supply protection, current sensing, converter condition, internal electrical protection, and rooftop compartment diagnosis should be handled by authorized Dometic service or qualified RV HVAC personnel.
Safety boundary
Disconnect power before any FreshJet service. Refrigerant-circuit, sealed-system, sensor, fan, drive, electrical protection, roof seal, and internal component work is for authorized Dometic service or qualified RV HVAC personnel.
