What amber flashes off means
The manual says the refrigerator is operating on AC power with the thermistor sensed as inoperable and backup temperature control active.
Owner-safe checks
- Record the indicator behavior.
- Keep food safety in mind and monitor cooling.
Service-only work
- Thermistor diagnosis is not owner serviceable and should go to an authorized Norcold Service Center.
Safety boundary
Do not bypass refrigerator controls, flame-sense devices, high-temperature protection, LP components, or electrical circuits. Shut off LP and power if there is gas odor, flame abnormality, overheating, or repeated fault behavior.
