The manual maps Flash Code 6 to a problem relating to the DC heater on 3-way models.
Owner-safe checks
- Turn the refrigerator off.
- Record whether the unit is a 3-way model and what power mode was selected.
Service-only work
- DC heater and control diagnosis is not owner serviceable and should go to an authorized Norcold Service Center.
Safety boundary
Do not bypass refrigerator controls, flame-sense devices, high-temperature protection, LP components, or electrical circuits. Shut off LP and power if there is gas odor, flame abnormality, overheating, or repeated fault behavior.
