What HI dc means
The manual lists HI dc as a high DC input-voltage fault.
Owner-safe checks
- Turn the refrigerator off.
- Record charger, converter, solar, or generator state if visible.
Service-only work
- High-voltage DC electrical diagnosis should be handled by qualified RV electrical service or Norcold service.
Safety boundary
Do not bypass refrigerator controls, flame-sense devices, high-temperature protection, LP components, or electrical circuits. Shut off LP and power if there is gas odor, flame abnormality, overheating, or repeated fault behavior.
