What red flash 3 means
The manual gives model-specific meanings: N7V/N8V indicate flame present when it should not be, while N7X/N8X indicate electronic controls.
Owner-safe checks
- Turn the refrigerator off.
- Record the model group and flash count.
- Do not continue operation if flame, LP odor, or repeated faults are present.
Service-only work
- Flame-sense, LP, burner, and electronic-control diagnosis belongs to an authorized Norcold Service Center.
Safety boundary
Do not bypass refrigerator controls, flame-sense devices, high-temperature protection, LP components, or electrical circuits. Shut off LP and power if there is gas odor, flame abnormality, overheating, or repeated fault behavior.
