What red flash 5 means
The manual maps Flash Code 5 to flame sensed at the burner when none should be present.
Owner-safe checks
- Turn the refrigerator off.
- Do not keep cycling the refrigerator if the flash code returns.
Service-only work
- Flame-sense, LP, burner, and control diagnosis is not owner serviceable.
Safety boundary
Do not bypass refrigerator controls, flame-sense devices, high-temperature protection, LP components, or electrical circuits. Shut off LP and power if there is gas odor, flame abnormality, overheating, or repeated fault behavior.
